Review by hotel critic
Stepping foot on Inishbofin island during our overseas trip was a breathtaking experience. The juxtaposition of ancient cliff forts with the serene sandy beaches and the remnants of a Cromwellian Castle immersed us in layers of history and beauty. During our stay at this quaint hotel in Clifden, Connemara, we discovered its proximity to the mesmerizing Sky Road, where the views of Clifden Bay and the scattered islands left us in awe. The access to pure lake water sourced from a secluded mountain added a touch of purity to our surroundings. The availability of versatile vouchers provided us with the flexibility to enjoy various services within the hotel premises. The warm greetings from the staff created a hospitable atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease. Our stay here was a serene blend of traditional charm and modern comforts, making it a delightful base for exploring the wonders of Connemara.
